Well, the verdict would be that your machine kicks the crap out of the memo to be honest. We have songs that used real strings, mellotron synths, flutes, etc... that never sounded "right" on the memo. They finally sound as intended and vivid. Very satisfied customers over here. (...) Looks like I might have some serious time to play with the coolest machine in the world!
I can easily say that your product is superior to any mellotron "copy" or simulator I've ever used.

I can't say enough how much I love the M4000D. You did a brilliant job. It is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the Memotron. I am very glad that I sold off the Memotron and went with your Mellotron. Bravo!
As you can imagine, she's been singing like a bird for the past few hours, as I explore what she can do. Just the occasional coffee break.
Markus - she is fantastic! This really is the realisation of a 40- year dream, and I'm like a kid at Christmas right now. Has anyone ever told you - you're a bloody genius! I can't thank you enough.

Just to report that the M4000D has been well used since arriving here - and she is BEAUTIFUL. Have composed 2 new pieces already and I'm amazed by the amount of feeling, emotion and atmosphere the 'tron seems to add on its own. I've played the same pieces on other keyboards I have, and they sound lifeless and expressionless. Play again on the 'tron, and there's real feeling to it, and it varies from one chord change to another. It is so easy to compose with this machine because of this. Your decision to add two extra keys was a master-stroke, too. I find that I really need them.

Markus, unbelievable. The package arrived safely and I've had a chance to play around for a bit. It sounds, looks, and feels amazing. Really great work. I can tell it is put together well.
The sound is fantastic, and I love the immediacy of the controls -- especially being able to switch tape sets by just rotating the knob (no blasted menus).
Awesome product. Worth the wait.
